About Kam Tech Quality Management
Founded in 2011, Kam Tech Quality Management has been dedicated to providing specialized aggregate and geotechnical testing and consulting services to a variety of industries throughout Kamloops and British Columbia. We provide laboratory testing and quality control services for the production, management and application processes on a variety of projects, but we deal primarily with concrete, asphalt, soils and aggregates.
Our goal is to help contractors attain the highest potential and best quality in new and continuing projects, resulting in the best product possible. Our employees have an extensive knowledge of concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregates, ranging from design and production, to onsite inspections.
Brent Traxel, AScT
Brent Traxel is an owner and senior technologist with Kam Tech Quality Management. Brent has been working in this industry since he graduated from Thompson Rivers University in 2006 with a diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology.
He has been registered as a professional Civil Technologist through the Applied Science Technologist and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) since 2008. Brent is also a member of the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association.
Stephen Guzyk, CTech
Stephen Guzyk is an owner and senior technologist with Kam Tech Quality Management. Stephen has been in the construction industry since 2000.
He moved into his current field in 2005 after graduating from Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
Stephen has been registered through the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia as a Civil Technician and is a member of the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association.
Matt Nerland
Matt has been a senior technologist with Kam Tech Quality Management since 2011 and has worked throughout BC on many projects. Matt has an extensive knowledge of asphalt and materials testing and is a member of the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association.
Sam Clemens
Sam started with Kam Tech Quality Management in 2014, and is one of our Quality Control Managers. Sam has a comprehensive knowledge of asphalt, concrete and aggregate testing, and is a member of the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association.
